I have always had a passion for skateboarding . Growing up, my mother let me have her board from the 70's. It was fascinating to see how much the shape and materials of boards have changed since then. I could not find a good visualization depicting this metamorphosis, so I decided to compile one.

After some research on the topic, I was able to curate pictures of complete skateboards, then I sorted them by decade. A linear timeline seemed appropriate to depict the transformation.
